Try Ted Gravlin. I got a good deal on a new furnace and airconditioner a couple years ago from them.
what happened? my friends furnace stopped working and he was able to fix it himself. if you want his info i can give it to you. Hes a good friend that prob won't accept any money, maybe dinner or something.

Try applewood plumbing and heating.
they always did very good work for me when I was in lakewood. (they don't come up to longmont, or I'd be using them still)

If you get a new try to get a Trane or American Standard. They are the quietest. Go for an 80% effencient with a variable speed fan. It's a little more expensive but will save you a lot of money on running it. I used to sell furnaces in a previous lifetime and when we needed a new one, I wish I ahd got the ones I used to sell. I have a Lennox and it is VERY LOUD!!!!

I bought a 96% efficient furnace with a variable fan. (big bucks)
BUT, my gas bill is HALF of my neighbors who only have an 80% furnace.
all the new ones are loud, they blow a little air for a short time so as to keep the heater off. You get used to it, but it's different.

I had to replace the heater in my last house. Sears had the best prices and installed it also. I think it was 85% 95% efficient.

Seriously, I'm in the biz and here's the guy I use:
Taufiq - Royal Bengal HVAC 720-276-2815
Brilliant work and great prices. Get your quotes then call Taufiq.
If you want to see if it's repairable i can swing by, or maybe troubleshoot over the phone.
Get a %90+ unit if you replace it, it'll pay for itself in the savings.
