Not sure where to put this question, so I'll start here.

Has anyone used the VTAC ambi mag catch? Pros? Cons?

I shoot "regular" AR15s lefty. The mag release is the only part I can not get used to (the FAL is much better).

Yikes $89.90??? heh, well i'm sure they wouldn't make them if they werent good, but for that price I would learn how to cuff the mag with my right hand :P

Funny thing is I shoot a Stag 2TL and the mag catch is on the same side as the R model.Go figure.

I have these on my rifles. They are an offical U.S.Army part with an NSN number. There are no changes made to the weapon, just remove your mag catch and install the new part.

DPMS has them for $85.00.

They are the Norgon.

I stuck one in a buddies AR and he likes it. He is a lefty, so for him it made sense.
