Worth it or not? I do quite a bit of this forum stuff from an iPhone and an iPad.

Thanks.

Eh. I have it. Use it sometimes, don't other times. It doesn't have any admin/mod features built in, so I feel a bit handicapped when I use it here or on ccw.co.

As a normal user, I see the benefits. But then again, the simple mobile theme seems to do much of the same for me for free. But the $3 or whatever it is didn't really hurt much when I paid for it either.

What if I don't need the moderator stuff? Is it any better or easier than what I am dong now?

I like using it on my phone. It's really lightweight, loads much quicker than a browser in desktop mode over 3g.

When I first started using it I hated it, it took some getting used to. I love it now, much easier than the site via smart phone. The only issue I've had is with PM's at times, hit or miss.

Worth it, but I recommend splurging on the $4.99 HD version. So much better on an iPad than the free vanilla version.

I generally like it, but it's often lost on "last read" post markers.

So how light is it??? I've been thinking about it too, but don't want the extra weight in my pocket!

It added only 2 ounces to my phone. Much lighter than the flashlight app I added to it.

For the cost of (6) .223 rounds, buy it.

This has been my biggest complaint with it. Otherwise I like it very much, way easier than the browser.

Looks like I lost my ability to see user locations. Anyone else with this new found issue?

I can't see them either, I just got an update yesterday, wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I didn't lose that ability. I never had it. Sucks too. I see a guy selling something and I have no idea if he lives in my city or 90 miles away.

It's worth it. Almost all of the forums I frequent are available on Tapatalk. I've got it on my iphone and use it alot when I'm away from home. My favorite feature is the Latest Activity pages - I can see everything that's current or that I've participated in very quickly.

Droid. The location always appeared up until a few days ago. I don't know, maybe it was the update that another member mentioned.

Same here. I don't see anything on the user profile either.

I use Xparent Tapatalk Green, Version 2.4.10 on a Galaxy s3, not sure how many versions or flavors there are. What version was the last upgrade that removed the locations?

This was sent from my home computer, not Tapatalk. [LOL]

I use it on both a Galaxy S3 and Kindle Fire, and I think it's well worth the few bucks you spend. It seems to load faster, and the stripped-down interface is much easier to navigate on smaller screens.

I haven't had the same problems with moderating posts that were reported earlier in this thread (I moderate on another gun forum.)

I have noticed a bug where it sometimes pops back to the "most recent" view when I tap on specific forum, but that's kind of minor.
