Newschannel 13 in Colorado Springs (that's the ABC affiliate) is advertising a story about taking a class with rangetime to get a CCW on their 10pm news tonight (Thursday 2-14-08). Might want to check it out.

It was mildly amusing.

I love the way reporters trip over the words. Did you catch the reporterette's line at the end of the story?

Sort of a quote, -- Sheriff Maketa tells me he has talked to the inmates at the El Paso County Jail, and they say that they are less likely to commit a robbery due to this PROBLEM.

Hmmmm....

I guess they the gun club is just teaching the Home Firearms Safety class, or the First Steps Pistol class since it was only four hours.

The 'problem' comes in play when a criminal wants to rob an armed citizen, good for the citizen, bad for the criminal!!!
