View Full Version : Reclaimed lumber in the Denver area..
Where is a good place to find and make a small purchase of some repurposed/reclaimed wood planks? Type of wood not that important. These will be used for a dining table top, need a little over 1 inch as after planing I want a 1 inch finished thickness, width not important, I may consider putting 1/2 inch boards together to get the 1 inch thickness as well.
Thanks!

I think beetle kill goes to auction often. Check USDA, that would make a nice top!

Check your local ReStore (http://www.habitat.org/restores). The one on Quincy usually has some old lumber or other wood items that can be re-purposed.
Looks like this one is near you

Is that the place by Rocky Flats? Didn't even think of that place. Wonder if they have dried/aged lumber ready to go for cabinetry stuff..
I like the other post idea of the Beetle kill stuff as well.
