So I called 5280 armory yesterday afternoon to inquire about some nfa items and was directed so someone who shall remain unnamed. I was told to come down today and this unnamed person would be able to assist me. This morning I arrive when they open and patiently wait my turn to talk to this person about purchasing 2 cans and an sbr.

In conversation, I was shocked that this person ended up telling me that they would have to decline the sale [Mad]

so I started to inquire as to why and his answer was "we are afraid of what will change in january and are unsure of when we will get anything further inventory in stock." At this point I realized that these guys care more about having items on display vs moving inventory.

I will personally never step in that place again. They were happy to leave my $3000 on the table and walk away. So off to Jensen arms I went and filled out my form 4's

This is the first that I have heard of this place, can I get more details?

i was however able to get an octane heavy duty for 9mm and a gemtech g5 for 223. I am wondering if the gemtech was a good choice as I am now reading a lot of mixed reviews on it. My choices in 223 were the gemtech or the sure fire. The surer ire looked nice but was a bit overpriced in my opinion. Thoughts on the g5?

Jim, I actually did do a bit of searching, but as we all know, at this moment pickings are slim, so I wanted to just get the paperwork started since I am being told that there is about an 8 month wait currently.
