I was lucky to score 1k bulk 55 grn fmj. i got home and there is at least 3 different bullets. and some 63 grn . They are seating different and the ogive canneluer are different any body got a good way to sort them? with my luck i feel i will be counting to 1k

Yep. Looks like you'll be counting.

powder scale. If you do 1 handful at a time you will be able to pick out the oddball ones.

Sounds like the ones Polygunbag had a few years ago. I just set them aside. I did look once and thought that the best way was by the base. had three distinct ones that I could tell.

Well it only took 45 min to count to 1k what a mess . May be he will give me a better price in the next buy.[Coffee]seems how there is nothing out there

What are you using the bullets for? What parameters of accuracy are you trying to get? (I hope not very good considering you knew they were not high end from the start.) Will separating them really matter? OAL is determined by the mag for an AR, so as long as they are seated to the same OAL to clear the mag and they all hit somewhere within an an inch or two of each other, does it matter?

I have anal-retentive match grade reloads, and then I have 2-3" groups at 200 yds but reloaded really fast and easy ammo. Depends on what I'm using it for.
