I see examples or my last AR-15 going for 2-3 times the prices I sold mine for, however, I replaced it with, hopefully, future ban excempt items at pre-panic prices. I think I came out ahead. Glad I wasn't tempted to price gouge anyone (don't think I would have anyway)

Cause he made money on it, !!
Please stop all this price gouging SHIT. People i know here are complaining about LGS prices, yet have no problem selling their shit for an extra buck.

I would have no problem with that. I asked the question because he had 1 and sold it. I didn't ask or care about gouging. I was wondering why he had an AR and sold it, but then bought something else.

Actually, I lost money on it.

It wasn't my first. Over the years I've owned 20 or more AR's. I'm not able to get to the range much anymore and when I do I find 1911's more challenging. It was an expensive toy to just sit is the safe. Just going in a different direction and sold it before the madness. With all the accessories I had on it I actually sold it for less than I had in it.
Manufacturers have raised their prices in some cases 40% over what they were 4 weeks ago.

I can attest to this and I thank you  ...but it will get put too good use in the upcoming years.
