The Colorado Multi-Gun monthly match will be this Saturday in Greeley/Weld County.

I am thinking I can get the day off. Anyone else going?

I should be there practicing for mesa! I have settled on which of the 3 ar-10's I build I will use for heavy metal. I may bring a belt-fed also for ****s and grins.

Me too.

I might drag Mike along if he can pry himself away from the weathermans forecast.

I would like to go see a match. My entry tactical isn't in yet though.

What kind of shotguns do you use in the matches? I don't think my Charles Daly O/U would make the grade.

I've always wanted to check out some of these matches, is spectating something people do? Is it enjoyable to do?

Most guys use semi-autos but there is a division just for pumps and 308s. He-Man division.

We often have people watching us. Most think we are crazy for running around the range with loaded guns and not shooting from benches.

You guys should come out. Be sure you say hello.

A forecast? Now you are just screwing with me. I see how you are. Do you really think I am even going to waste my time checking it? You are a bad man. Back away from the weather man. They are evil and always wrong. Voodoo. Black majik.

Good times today. Nice straight forward stages, no mind benders or stupid crap.

My knee is the size of a house and feels like its on fire, but thats ok. Bones heal and chicks dig scars.

i went but, minimal sleep from fri kept me off the line. nothing like a 1/2 awake incoherent shooter, thats gun safety at its finest.

nice of alan to be there promptly @ 8 :)

I was just lucky. I gained a lot of ground on the handgun stage and 100 yard rifle stage.

And we're going to keep shooting those "easy" pistol/rifle stages until people can do them!!

Good match today. The wind was howling this morning but it eased up for the last two stages.

I really need to work on remembering what choke I have in my shotgun... Maybe I should just silver solder a light mod or IC in there and call it good.

Special thanks to Zak for letting me use his STI as I was a complete idiot and forgot a pistol.

Tomorrow, Pueblo rifle.

My first 2-gun (rifle / shotgun) @ PWSA I drove everybody around me nuts by asking which choke I should use for each stage.

Improved and light modified is fine for most all shooting. When the clay
gets close, maybe switch to skeet. When the steel gets far or set heavy,
switch to maybe modified or light full.

My 1100CM came with 3 choke-tubes. I have a nice clean modified and rifled tube sitting here, so it must be the IC that's been installed since then.
