Very well said. Found this on CNN.
"Senator Dianne Feinstein,
I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government's right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.
I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.
I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.
We, the people, deserve better than you.
Respectfully Submitted,
Joshua Boston
Cpl, United States Marine Corps
2004-2012"

I agree. I'm starting to think it's time to go "Occupy 2A" on they ass. What kind of message would that send if all over the country "Occupy 2A" protestors brought AR-15s and other goodies and camped out in city parks all over America?

Just to clarify, I'm talking peaceful, law-abiding protests. We just bring our guns...kinda like taking them for a walk in the park.

Seriously...what would local city PD do if 3k or 4k or 10k people showed up peacefully protesting the 2A by "occupying" a park? We could all pick up our trash, clean up after ourselves and go home at the end of the day. Sure, we might be violating a city ordnance by openly carrying guns, but it's not like that's the crime of the century. There sure as hell wouldn't be any rapists, muggers or assaults taking place like there were with the "OWS" douchebags.

I love the idea, hell even if we could just organize a 1 day "pick nick" It would have to be a overwhelming number of folks to keep the .gov from trying to arrest us all on some trumped up violation.

So go somewhere that open carry is permitted. Sling your rifle.

My wife and I were talking about this exact subject last night. What a coincidence! The idea would be to have a million (ideally, 100,000 min) take their ARs and demonstrate on the mall in Washington. If the administration were smart, they would let that pass and try to ignore it. However, that wouldn't happen, as the left is really "feeling their oats" these days. No, they would try to crush it as fast and brutally as possible to "make an example" and "send a message". I think many protesters might resist being arrested, and this would escalate into a bloodbath - perhaps might be thought of as the modern-day Boston Massacre. I dunno, maybe I should be a fiction writer...[blah-blah]

Agree. We'd have to arrive simultaneously in fairly large numbers (thinking 20 to 30) to avoid being "picked off" one by one of the PD wanted to make arrests.
That's why an advanced notification would probably be wise. As would having a few pro-2A attorneys on standby.

If all that's true, that's more reason to do something like this. Besides...I'm talking about 1 day events in various places. Not really long enough for a massive government coordination effort. Not only that, but OWS protests were anything but peaceful in many areas.
