View Full Version : The importance of writing
If you haven't seen fit to write your politicians, how will they know you even care? Do you care?!

Yes I completely agree. All you who think if you write somehow the government will track that and spy on you and raid your house.....that won't happen. What will happen is that you will wake up one day in January and you 2nd amendment right will not only be infringed upon but they will be demolished.
Take the time, write your Senator AND Representative. Most of us here live in Colorado I assume. Write Bennett and Udal (even though neither of them respect your 2nd amendment rights). Both support an assault weapons ban. Write Mike Coffman and any other Colorado Republican Representative. They may be the only hope we have. Just today I went one further and wrote John Boehner (Speaker of the House) and I also wrote Rand Paul.
In the weeks to come I will go one further and write members of the state legislature. If you don't know we have a Democrat controlled State house and senate plus a Dem GOV. Even if Feinstein's legislation gets shot down there may be new state restrictions.
Lastly, give an extra $20 or so to the NRA and any other organization such as the NAGR.
It is the same as voting. You can't complain when your rights are being taken right from under your nose and you did nothing to try to stop it.
Couple of data points to tell these people.
1) On average mass murders claim around 75 to 150 people per year. DWIs claimed 10,000 per year up until 2011 when it dropped just under (9,400). Which is the greater threat, where should these politicians priorities be?
2) Our rights are NON-NEGOTIABLE. Any anti-guns laws passed should be met with stiff public resistance all the way to the next election day, and on that day their political careers should be sank.
