I'm looking to get a fullsize 9mm (my first fullsize gun  )! I only have $330ish (used is fine and almost prefered for this price range...) to spend and want something that will be fun to shoot the cheaper 9mm ammo. It will be used for casual plinking and possibly if I start shooting some local casual combat style shoots (very casually, infrequently, and non-competitevly). What should I look at? If I cant find a decent 9mm for the price I may get a Model 65 which I always loved and shouldnt have sold mine, howver the 65 would serve a different function. What to do!?!

the sleeper , under rated 9MM is the FNP-9MM comes with 3)16rd mags, has the standard polymer frame s/steel slide with decocker fit and feel of a H&K/Sig hybrid. nice tight groups. nothing fancy but a good deal.
and if you do something with the bill of sale with FN they send you a double mag holder and holster free of charge.

Hell I bet you can go to a gun pawn shop and pick up a P85 for like $200 bucks

+1

I have owned 2 FNP9s, the black and the two tone. I only got rid of them because I needed money. I plan to buy a replacement one in the next few weeks. If you look around you can find them for around 400-450 NIB just a bit over your 330

One more option is a Bersa Thunder 9 17+1rd. They sell for around 350-400 NIB I don't have any experience with this one, But I Have the Thunder 380. I have put around 700rd through my Bersa 380. It has a grate trigger, is very accurate at 15 ft, and has ran 99% ( I had a FTF with a flat nose Win USA, But has ran 100% with Speer Gold Dot).

You will not find a better gun for 255$ end of story.

There is a reason seal teams are issued Sig Sauer's and a reason many other professionals use them. I have both glocks and sig's and in my opinion the sig is made of of real metal, is far more accurate and having that hammer on the back that you can re-c@ck it is priceless. Somtimes especially with cheap or old ammo being able to pull that hammer back again is all it takes for that round to go off where in a glock you'd have to pull back on the slide and discard that round.

Sig all the way for me.

*And whats with filtering the word ****(c@ck) people? In the firearm world thats kind of a necessary word aint it?
