I believe that you need a certified Hunter Safety Instructor to teach that course and I would suggest contacting the DOW and see if what they can do for you.
Yeah, not like CCW classes it appears. I need one too, and I found out there's only certain places you can take them, and they're usually booked up weeks in advance. I'm signed up for one on the 20th, then have to do online classes, then go back for a test on the 29th. Cost is $10. At least it's just a once-in-a-lifetime ordeal.
Gonna take you some research. It appears there's private online training, for a price, but you still have to have "official" testing? http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/HunterEducation/Pages/HuntEd.aspx

I wish it was as easy as going to Bass Pro Shops for a 2-hour seminar that they hold every day, but t'ain't so, it appears.

The easy way is being old to enough that you don't have to have it [Beer]
You can do the online training for free. I found a class that allowed me to sign up for the final day where you go in for the in person part for 4-6 hours. Total cost is $7.

You're also doing this at the wrong time of year. Hunting seasons are mostly closed or closing by now.
The pace picks up late spring and summer.
Black bear or turkey?

Seems like, since it's just the Hunter's Safety Course, that the off-season would be the best time to get in and get it done. It doesn't have anything to do with hunting, other than being a requirement you have to fulfill first. I've never messed with it because I've never hunted here, but now I have a chance to and I don't have the damn HSC card!

We try to make it easy.
You did notice that I posted the schedule for our next classes at Brighton Rec Center. Just a few lines below this topic ....
The March classes are usually the busiest as people try to get the hunter education class done in time to make the April big game draw.
