They do this every time. Cheaper than Dirt is such a POS company. I bought a bunch of these during the ban for a third of this price. They did this a few years ago. They make my blood boil. And who do they think is going to buy this. They Suck. I expect price increases, CDNN didn't go crazy, Midway is still 'reasonable'. If CTD thinks this is a good plan cool. When non gun guys ask me where to get what ever, I tell them where I go. Not to Cheaper than Dirt.

I've been calling buddies that don't shoot, and asking them to send me their mags that have found their way into the tough box. Just got 7 from a buddy @ Riley... afghani sand still in them and all....

I bought a couple USGI gun cases from them about a month ago. First order I've had with them since before 2008.

Beat up USGI mags for $99. But they have new 20-round PMags for $30...which is a relatively good price, all things considered. Who comes up with that kind of pricing formula?

I wouldn't buy a bucket of water from them for a nickel if my balls were on fire.

It's not for me - I think I have too much pride in whatever work I choose to do - but I do have a certain grudging admiration for people who separate the chronically stupid from their money for a living.

I don't really begrudge CTD selling for that price. You adjust up and down so that you maximize profit and, given how crazy everyone is being, and how difficult it is to get ahold of USGI 30 rounders, this is probably a long-term play anticipating the panic buying continues at least into Feb 2013. If it does, $100 for 30 round mags may become the standard - if you can find them at all.

As always, though, if you wait until panic buying season to get what you want or need, you deserve the ripoff, with certain rare exceptions.

as much as I don't really like going into 5280, they have 30rd p-mags constantly in stock for $21. Also they are being fair on ammo pricing for the most part.
