I love my 6.8. Stag 20" barrel with 1/11 twist. [Beer]
I can't wait to find some mag's and ammo.
I think I might have to start reloading with the price of all my toys now though!!!!

It's going to tough for every one. With all the [panic] buying going on. I reload, but hard to find components thanks to the big O.

I want to reload... Read, and read, until my brain hurt... I just need the equipment, and have someone show me how to do it. I learn very quick, and much better when i'm actually doing it. my brain/body was designed for repeating work like an assembly line. If someone gave me all the equipment and showed me exactly what I had to do... I would reload for hours just getting it down. Then would need shown for each round and be good.

At 1st I was deathly afraid of reloading. But after a few months, It just became natural. Then the fun really started. But now. Hard to find all the stuff one needs to reload and make it worth one's while. Kind of sad!!

I have seen the TNT by speer. They are tied with the 115gr HPBT of what I want to shoot

I also had an AR Performance 6.8 upper. LOVED it. Those 90gr TNTs are awesome.
This was my favorite 6.8 round: http://www.ssarmory.com/6.8_spc_ammo-2-1-1-2-1.aspx
yeah, I wanted those Barnes. They can get up to 3000fps! Can't really find them in stock though. So I just picked up some 110gr HPBT's

BTW the new Hornady reloading manual is out. 9th edition. And it has 300 Blk out data. FYI!! [Coffee]
I don't have a 300 blackout, so how is that a win?
Welcome to the 6.8 club. It is a smaller but exciting club. I reload and have settled on three loads that my specific rifle combo likes:
95gr Barnes TTSX with Federal brass, AA2200 and CCI 41 primers - hogs (haven't hunted them yet but on paper my rifle likes these and they chrono well and get HUGE reviews on the 68furom)
110gr Hornady boho with Federal brass, H335 or AA2200 and CCI 400 primers for general shooting
115gr Sierra Matchking with Federal brass, H335 and CCI 400 primers for comp
The Speer 110gr pro hunter are also supposed to be really good too. As always you would need to work up what load works best for your weapon. Just have fun!
I got to shoot only about 10 rounds out of it today, WAS AWESOME!!!! Range the 550 gong after 3 shots @25, and 1 @ 100, to make sure scope was on target.
I might be PMing you for some pointers. I would love to purchase some rounds, whats the legality of selling FTF with ammo?
I think the class 7 FFL is required for manufacture and selling of ammo. You may want to talk to a FFL to verify.
thanks. I will talk to an FFL. Sucks you cant buy specific rounds from people who reload.

Now that supplies are loosening up there are a lot of bullets to choose from. Look at Shooters Pro Shop for Nosler bullets, they are the factory outlet for Nosler. You can find blems and overruns at a good price. The Speer 90 tnt is a great bullet as are the Hornady 110 BTHPs and 120 SSTs. Nosler has a new 85 gr. lead free bullet as well. Federal once fired brass is available from LWRCI for $280/1000.
Lots of good info out on 68Forum for this cal. Here are some of my loads that work AWESOME!

As usual, these worked in my weapon (PSA 16" SPC II 1:11) but you should work up to these for safety. I never go for max velocity so there is room in there. And if anyone is interested, I have two boxes of Barnes 85Gr TSX that I am not going to use and will sell. PM me if interested.
