These are the words that spewed out of a co-workers mouth today. His impresssion of the Tea Party is that we're against any and all government and we want chaos in the streets.

He is a nice enough guy but I like it when he exposes himself in this fashion, he is your typical, hateful, big government liberal.

He thinks I'm all wet when it comes to the role of government in our lives and that only liberals understand economics.

Anyway, I just walked back to my office. Some people refuse to see the facts, especially when those facts refute everything they see on TV.

I had an argument w/ a liberal on FB yesterday. He was arguing in a circle and only repeating the same drivel. Once I realized he was an idiot and had no idea about the reasons for certain amendments I gave a big ol' /facepalm and walked away. I offered to purchase him a few history books.

lmfao
additionally;
Anarchists...

When did this become a negative term? And who levied that distinction?

Ancestrally, anarchists were some of the greatest warriors and proudest races. Does the phrase "Na Bona, Na Croin" ring any bells?

Anarchists (real ones, not lefty plants) believe that no government or assemblage, council or board has power over the sovereignty of the individual. Tribe, family, clan are preeminent.

We could argue the nuance of anarchy for aeons.

The best way to tell you're talking to an idiot, they polarize the tea party and OWS movement... "Both are anarchist, but just different sides..." Uh wrong. OWS is in fact anarchist, but the tea party just wants smaller government, not no government... I'm convinced that average, run-of-the-mill liberals are the stupidest people in the country.

How is OWS anarchist when each of their demands calls for expanded government intervention and power?

OWS are violent leftists and deranged homeless scum masquerading as Anarchists.

Definition of ANARCHY from Merriam-Webster

a : absence of government
b : a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority
c : a utopian (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/utopian[1]) society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government

Unfortunately none of these can exist for very long especially C, mostly because humans crave power above all.

This video illustrates perfectly arguing with an idiot (leftist, progressive, moron):

By the way, the Breitbart move "Occupy Unmasked" is very sobering. It exposes what the OWS crowd is about and who is behind it.

No, I haven't, but it is powerful none the less...

Bona Na Croin

“Neither your collar nor crown Shall I wear — my nose not brown, Nor I some clown in your court, In chains brought — a wolf to town.

By no oath bound to your King, To my Gods alone I sing, Grey shadow hiding from sight To keep the rite from waning.

In red gold you dress these slaves, What throne can forget Nine Waves? In deep caves our flame I shield, Never to yield to such knaves.

Collars serve to reign dogs in, Quell their nerve with shades and sin. Wild wolf’s kin such bangles scorn, Free-born I stay, son of Fionn.

My brothers hunted, slain, skinned. Yet still my cries ride the wind, Numbers thinned, but still we wait, For your hate, we have not sinned.

Now the lone hunters take heed, Upon the Great Stag we feed, Blood for mead. His death our life, Ends this strife, stirs this dried seed.

The old packs come together, Ties that fear cannot sever, Endeavour in pride to stand In the Wolf Land, forever.”

~ This is the poem it came from, I’m not sure of the author, but its meaning is defiance to the British rule in Ireland. (via http://en.allexperts.com/q/Medieval-History-2856/f/phrase.htm)

1. As several of you have pointed out, anarchy is not random chaos and violence. It is simply the absence of organized government. Or as I state: the absence of rule, not the absence of rules.
2. The lefties can't have a debate without name calling. i.e. teabaggers. We need to call them on this crap. Name calling is the bastion of those who do not have logic, reason or data on their side, so they resort to ad hominem attacks against the person. We need to hold them to a higher standard during debates.

Anyway, in my opinion, I see the lefties as the Johnny come latelies of society. They are not the pioneers that set out westward to risk everything to create a new life and maybe a fortune through their own sweat and blood. They show up after others have toiled, sweated, bleed and even died to create civilization from nothing. Then proclaim they are the ones that made it happen and need to be in charge of everything, because without their leadership nothing would get done. Pure Bulls**t.
But they believe their own lies and no amount of data with sway them from their ideology. If these idiots magically died all at once, value added work would get done and prosperity would break out. Imagine that.

My $1.02 to the conversation.

Another thought just came to me. Do see Breitbarts documentary "Occupy Unmasked". Excellent and very well done. And I think it explains why logic and reason have no effect on the left. They have an ideology that they want to impose on everyone and nothing will stand in the way. Doesn't matter that logic and data proves their utopia won't work. THEY believe it will and they need us to step aside and stop stonewalling progress.
As it is said in the move (I'll paraphrase) - the issue isn't the issue, only the revolution matters.
You can't fight this mentality with logic, reason and data. I also read a quote attributed to JFK "you cannot argue with people who believe whats mine is mine and what's yours is negotiable". You loose no matter what you do.
