I took my ccw class 7 years ago and the company I went through is no longer around. My wife went through GunSmoke and they were just a joke. My father wants to start the ccw process as was wondering if anybody can recommend a good ccw class for him to take? He is very capable with a hand gun and shooting so live fire is not necessary. Thanks

http://www.coloradopersonalsecurity.com/schedule.html Check these people out. It's where I went to get my CHP certification. There's no live fire involved. Just a 4 hour class. It's run by a forum member here. He goes by the name Wulf202

Pgfirearmstraining.com. Paul is a good guy. Active LEO, not just a gunshow bullshitter for sure. Used to offer a forum discount, couldn't hurt to ask.

Cheers, Matt

I'm going to one of his classes today. Got it through Groupon for under $60.

RW Swainson is the best class you will ever get. Worth it 100%. And shooting live fire/holster drills with someone as experienced as Bob even the "experts" will learn something new. Plus its range time! Who doesn't want more range time?
