View Full Version : Custom AR15 lowers (metal work, engravings)
So, I found an offer for a custom AR15 lower, the manufacturer is "Umbrella". I thought it was bad ass, and if it weren't so damn expensive, I would buy it.

Expensive? Umbrella sells their lowers for like $150. They are currently working on a new batch with a stronger Aluminum. I'm waiting for them to come out so I can buy a few. Id like a seekins as well. I dont think anything is as good looking as a seekins lower.

Virginia Beach? Shouldn't that be Raccoon City?
How about this one. Kinda pricey but purdy in a traditional way.

Looks like the umbrella lowers were $135 on release but they only made 200 so people are probably selling them for really really stupid prices now. I don't see anything special about them. I'd rather have the Seekins or a Noveske gen2.

Spyder, We're in Longmont. I do the Cerakoating and (when the epilog arrives) the laser engraving. Aaron and Pat are the machinists that make all the magic happen. If you would like to see the shop contact us from the number on our webpage http://www.shadowopsweaponry.com/contactus.aspx We, are looking at atleast 4 weeks before we have any more ar15 receivers though. If you are willing to wait we can do the customizing for you on a new receiver or Aaron can machine engrave an existing one.
