I fell off the wagon for a bit. But I've found a good way to get cardio on those rough days: stick the kiddo in the wrap and hit the elliptical for a half hour. Works like a charm.

Today was rough, so I did just that. Rocks the baby to sleep and keeps the fat (slowly) coming off.

Brag about your run times/distances and encourage others in this thread.

I run my 10k's in just over an hour, and my only half was 2:18. My wife signed us up for a half again this year. My goals this year are to break 2 hours for the half, run a 10k in 51 or less (my age) and get in a total of 1000 miles this year. That's in addition to some long distance mountain biking races, too. I would not consider myself a "runner" by any means.

I need to get back after it. I was doing well in the weight loss department, about 40 lbs, but I've never been a distance runner so I'm going to keep those times to myself.

I did the Manitou Incline today. Twice.

Anyone want to meet up at red rocks once a week and do a few laps at the stairs?

I just need to get motivated...maybe this thread can help, since i'm fairly competitive. I'd like to lose 10-15lbs and tone up again, but mainly I need to get my endurance and cardio tolerance back up. I'm certain I'd be winded far too quickly and probably can't run a 5k without walking right now.... my PR back in high school was 17:49. I'd love to beat that when I'm in my 30's.

I might be down to do a red rocks run, but it's been a long time since my fatass had run

I absolutely hate running. The other day we went to the track and did 100m sprint, 50m jog, 200m sprint, 100m jog, etc up to 400m sprint for 2 miles. It's another 2 miles to get to the track, and another 2 back, which we ran.
I hate running.

Currently off the wagon. I ran just over 150 miles in 2012 and ran in every month but February.

More power to you guys. Health issues and lots of sports injuries in my youth have taken their toll on me. The only thing I run from is fire.

I take my two year old golden retriever 2+ miles every morning. She needs it or she is is crazy high energy. It's a good routine for me too. I usually do intervals, sprint, jog, walk if I am really beat.

Let's see here. After two back surgeries and two hip surgeries, I decided to work my way up through running and cross-fit again. This week I did a 10K with a 8:35 pace and I can run the 5K just under 22 minutes. I feel good about it except that my left leg is usually numb for a while after the runs :)
