Anyone have a good recommendation for a real meat butcher? Looking for some real Kielbasa.
I can't recommend a butcher, but this place has some good kielbasa.

I don't know if you ever make it down here to pueblo, but franks meat market has the best kielbasa I have ever had, my mom used to buy i when I was a kid (that was well over 30 years ago)and I still pick it up when I can remember to stop buy there. I can post directions if you need them. but that is quite a drive for some sausage.

I asked this question last year.
Got some GREAT suggestions.

I don't know much about it, but there is a Polish kielbasa store that makes their own, on Wadsworth and 29th. It is caty-corner from the cemetery, in a small shopping strip center, between the Italian bakery and a crematorium. Lots of east european foods and many types of kielbasa freshly made on the premises.
I haven't had real kielbasi since escaping New York, one of the things I realy miss.
I wish I could convince my mom into making it again. She use to make it fresh when I was a kid.
If you find a source let me know, and if I find a source or mom starts making it again I'll pass the word!!
One good thing is mom still makes fresh perogis all the time :D

My dad makes it, sausages of all kinds too. He'll be escaping NY soon and moving to CO. Can't wait for that! [Dinner]
