View Full Version : The elephant in the room that is being ignored
Say what you want about the Dems, the biggest problem America has and has always been is the Republicans. Why? Because NE liberal republicans hate conservatives. Having conservatives in the vicinity highlights how truly liberal they are and they resent their cover being blown. If concerned Americans don't wake up and unhitch their wagon from this Trojan team of asses they are going to go down with it as sure as a scuttled ship.
The Trouble For Conservatives

RESIZE: AAA
Jim Bridenstine may get a primary challenge. (http://jimbridenstine.com) You may not know who he is, but Jim Bridenstine is a brand new member of Congress, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves, a fighter pilot from the Iraq and Afghan Wars, and a strong fiscal conservative.
He should be a hero to any and all Republicans. He’s a genuine bad ass. And on Day 1, he decided not to vote for John Boehner for Speaker. Bridenstine is happy to play on the team, but unhappy to go along to get alone when we are looking at $16 trillion in debt.
His office is silent, but friends of his in Congress say the House Republican Leaders already have him on a list of incumbents they may just want to do away with. But he is exactly the type of guy we need in Congress.

This is exactly what they did to that other American hero Lt. Col.Allen West.

BS. The biggest problem in America for the past 80 years have been Democrats. This internal fratricide between non-Democrats is what enabled Democrats to win seats in an election they should have lost big.
In the first place, there are many kinds of conservatives: fiscal, social, constitutional, etc. What absolutely kills us is Libertarians despising social conservatives, social and fiscal conservatives despising "RINOs", etc.
Conservatives didn't oust Allen West, Democrats playing around with the vote reporting system in Palm Beach County did.
This kind of post from a new user just smells to high heaven of an Alinsky-esque plant designed to sow division amongst anyone who might oppose the Obama-Pelosi-Reid socialist totalitarian plan.
The elephant in the room is the economy which is being systematically destroyed by the feel-good socialists (D) and (R) that infect the government.
Bread (free goods and servicesto the worthless) and circuses (TV) to distract the American people from the evil being committed in their name.

Really??
Allen West being redistricted out of existence in effort led by Romney Florida spokesman (http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/01/allen-west-being-redistricted-out-of-existence-in-effort-led-by-romney-florida-spokesman/)

The establishment is fighting back, alright.
This has not received a lot of national attention, but the Republican legislature in Florida is about to push through a plan which puts Allen West at serious risk, and the person leading the effort is one of Mitt Romney’s spokemen. As reported by The Shark Tank (http://shark-tank.net/2012/01/27/24717/):

And before you start hurling your boiler plate platitudes about the intentions of anyone, new or old, try taking off your blinders and try comprehending the macro. People are getting sold a bill of goods by the republican machine that is just a different version of the koolaid the libs are dishing out on the other side. At no point, post Civil War, has any of the 2 parties reversed the downward spiral of the social/moral structure of the society.(in fact they encourage it) And that decline is the progenitor of the black hole called the economy.
The greatest con job ever perpetuated has been the skillful way with which the "GOVT" has systematically shackled and hobbled the American citizenry while leaving them under the hypnotic delusion they have free will and are free. So clever is the deception that the subjugated willingly keep re-electing their subjugators.
Because NE liberal republicans hate conservatives.
What's "NE", or short for "any"? Sorry, wasn't sure if you meant some other code for "RhINO" I wasn't aware of.

I smell a rat too... Aw damn, he (?) is from Evergreen too!? I agree with Aloha here 100%... it's the Democrats that are destroying America bit by bit, and trying to force a socialist agenda on us (whether or not they come out and say it or actually believe they're doing it).

And the Republicans do what? Have secret 'back room' meetings w/ Obama. Yet we still see a 41:1 rise in taxes vs cuts. Boehner even stated no more 'back room' or whatever he called it meetings w/ Obama. The republicans are a joke at this point. They can't put up anyone.. anywhere.. to win and make a difference.
You have the idiots making stupid comments about women and simply offereing an apology. Like it or not.. women have the right to vote and these old dumb ass conservatives need to see the big picture. You can't attack a majority, or even a minority of the population and expect to win. Women, Homosexuals, and minorities. Yes.. they CAN and DO vote.

Its been a lot of D with a sprinkle of R, a tremendous spending problem at all levels, demonizing of the successful, handouts to those who refuse to help themselves and finally a failure of leadership of any kind, from top (POTUS) to the bottom (We the People). You can point fingers all you want but at the end of the day there are still 3 fingers pointing back at you.

Wow, well put! I'm stealing this if you don't mind

This touches on what a big problem is for Republicans, and a few after the election touched on it and then were slammed by far right groups like the Tea Party. There are a lot of independent voters who are fiscally and even constitutionally conservative, but are not conservative on social issues, especially abortion, marijuanna, religion and even immigration reform. What hurt the Republicans a lot with independents who even have conservative leanings were speeches where the Republican is up on stage saying that women's bodies can shut down the reproductive system in cases of rape and incest or another saying if a woman does get pregnant after being raped it's God's will. These two didn't get elected which cost Republicans seats in D.C. and also turned voters across the country against them. For some people, these issues outweighed the fiscal beliefs they have and they either voted 3rd party or even Democrat.

I believe it was also due to the redistricting of Florida's 22nd CD.
The problem as I see it, is not Democrats or Republicans. It's career politicians, specifically the 25%+ of the members of the House and Senate that are multimillionaires, and those like our Disgrace in Chief that have NEVER held a job that required actual physical labor. It can't be a Government "by the people, of the people, and for the people" if those we elect suddenly become a separate class, not subject to the concerns of the real world (health care, retirement, rising cost of living, unemployment, etc.). The only way to put these leeches back in touch with reality is to limit their tenure in office, and restrict their options after they leave office. Enact a term limit of 12 years TOTAL in Federal office(House, Senate, or any part of the Executive branch, including cabinet positions), with no free health care, no cushy government pension, no Secret Service security, and no possibility of EVER being a lobbyist after they leave office. The Founders never envisioned the concept of "career legislator", instead imagining that our best and brightest would choose to serve for a term or two, then return to a productive life.
