I know there's a club east of Ft C/Loveland that I've been to before to shoot, and it seems like a nice place in the summer time. Are there any places, indoor or outdoors, which might be closer to here and/or worth checking out?
IDPA/IPSC matches there are a bonus.

Heck, you're close enough to the Pawnee Grasslands to go there. Or are you looking for something more formal?

either/or.
I'd like, LIKE an indoor place to plink at in the wintertime as I'm a spoiled brat and don't like losing brass in the snow... *G*

There is a an indoor range in Fort Collins open to the public at Rocky Mountain Shooter's Supply and a Private indoor range in Loveland.
I think the cost in Ft. C is $18 but if you join, it's cheaper. $180 a year and includes dependants and cost's $7.00 to shoot, or $250 a year and you get a membership to Pawnee Sportsman Center as well. The one in Loveland is $200 to join and $30 a month, but no range fees. It's a nice range and well set up. i used to belong to it when the previous owner had it, but $500 for the first year is a bit steep for me.
