The commenters are, for the most part, angry.

Aww, they're sad because people are angry...

I like this comment from a non-loonie. Much better than any ridiculous death threats that don't do the 2A cuase any justice!

If some real responsible gun owners wanted to go show that they actually care about using their guns for positive purposes, they'd go to the Gawker offices and offer to provide protection for people threatened by the crazies they say they hate.

More than likely those threats are coming from their own side of the fence.

Jalopnik, a sister site to Gawker, chimed in as well!

I can't stand Gawker anymore. It's all liberal crap.

Yeah, Jalopnik is pretty much the only good site in their network anymore, and even that can be annoying at times.

I used to read Gizmodo quite a bit but then they decided to weigh in on every political situation under the sun. Stick to the tech and leave the politics to people that know what the hell they're talking about.

Yeah. And Kotaku used to be good for gaming, but it seems to focus almost entirely on consoles now. Lifehacker was never good. Jezebel is good for a laugh from time to time. Limit your exposure, though. It's known to cause brain tumors.

Post legal names and addresses of private residences for judges, policemen, prosecutors, politicians, bankers, CEOs, and celebrities and expect it to go over well? Only the elite and wealthy can get a permit in NYC.

gizmodo, the same geniuses that took a tv-turn-off device to E3 in 2008 and basically ruined a bunch of presentations that many people had worked very hard to create. They couldn't understand why everyone was so pissed. Gee assholes, maybe if you had spent thousands of dollars to showcase your hit-or-miss technology and some punks ruined your chance, you'd be a bit pissed too.

I remember that. They were banned from E3 after that. Pretty shitty thing to do. Lot of sweating because of them, and potentially lost jobs.

Fleshbot is more than 75% gay material now. Not my style. But yeah, better than Gawker.

I still visit Lifehacker from time to time. Seems to be the least political of Gawker's sites. I do use an RSS feed though - that way I see only the headlines and only check out what interests me.

I was going to post this but figured it had already been done. I did not want the repost police on me again.

Every once in a while they'll post something worth while.
