Joshua Boston, the Marine who wrote that awesome letter to Feinstein had a pretty good debate with Piers. Represented us much better than Alex Morgan but seemed a little more timid(probably because he doesn't yell on the radio all the time.)

He was out-matched, but he did very well in keeping his composure and making sensible statements. It's terrible the MSM keeps preying on this brave Marine simply because he is an easy target for debate.

It was far less entertaining. I do felt he held his own pretty well but when dealing with people like this personally I think you have to own the conversation which he did not.

Thank you Josh Boston.
He did an excellent job. [Beer]

As far as im concerned Morgan should not have a say in the matter, As he is a foreigner. [teabag]

Well done. Better than Alex Jones handled him IMO.

2 debates..... well a yelling match and a conversation more like it.

Both the same outcome. Nobody is left swayed. They are going to continue their assault on us no matter what, they cry in the corner when we bite back.

Much better.

All Alex Jones did was knock the fence sitters to the other side. Horrible interview for sure.

People on the other side of the 2nd Ammendment wont ever come to our side. But hopefully we can keep the people in the middle leaning towards our side.

You don't argue with leftists to change the minds of leftists (such is a fools errand).

You argue with leftists so that the fence sitters that are watching may be swayed to your side.

In that vein I'd say it's Josh Boston 1, Alex Jones 0, Piers Morgan 0

seems as though morgan is itching for an all out altercation with someone. all these "debates" with people he's bound to call someone and piss them off enough.

I didn't say you try to sway the left. I said nobody was left swayed..... I don't think the fence sitters are a large enough majority to care about, and myself personally could give 10,000 shits what they feel. This isn't a democratic issue, this is not democracy where the masses vote on it. This is a Constitutional Right, and it is not for debate in my mind, so I don't even debate it.

Well, he went from Alex Jones: media personality, to Josh Boston: Marine... So what Piers is really looking for is someone with the training of Boston with the self control of Jones. I wonder if he realizes how that will play out for him; I'll offer up poorly.

Agreed. Although AlexJones isn't the right vehicle, I love his petition to deport Morgan, awesome even if going nowhere.

You SHOULD care what fence sitters think because whether they are a majority or not (and I suspect they could be), we are NOT a majority. We need them on our side or you can kiss your Right good bye. All the gun banners need to do is sway enough fence sitters for them to get a slim majority in 39 states. You don't need to be rabid but you DO need to calmly, cogently and consistently defend our Rights in ways that make sense and win support from the fence sitters.

It has been said before, but evidently is worth repeating: this is not a democracy. The majority does not have the authority to take away anyone's rights.

I guess I was wrong growing up thinking rights, as reiterated in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, were something that couldn't be taken away, that we all are born with... [Shake]

Agree, and well stated. Any extremist views of "no compromise" means kiss it goodbye and have fun with that "1776 Revolution" or whatever.

I admire the way Josh handles himself in the interviews. It shows great for gun owners that we aren't all crazy and irrational

You DID read that the Constitution can be amended? Just what do you think I was referring to when I mentioned slim majorities in 39 states?

You have private property rights but those can be taken away via eminent domain. I happen to think assault is assault and murder is murder but these days you can actually get a more severe sentence if you say something society doesn't approve of before or while committing the assault. The Bill of Rights was written to enumerate things that couldn't be taken away but liberals have been chipping away at that by redefining the language. At the end of the day, our rights are protected by that fact that a majority of Americans agree they need to be protected.

I agree with everything you said here, except they won't try to amend, because they know there currently is no chance in hell for 39 states. Instead they will continue on their path, which is why I said it doesn't really matter. What is going to happen, is going to happen.... there isn't much we can do. It is inevitable. I would rather prepare than waste time preventing.
