Early happy birthday! The best deal locally that I've seen was 1K cases of Tulammo for $300 at Green Mtn. Guns in Lakewood. Not as cheap as normal, but not that bad either. That was days ago though, so who knows. Walmarts had 20 rd boxes of Tulammo for under $5, but not that much in stock, especially now. Hopefully the panic blows over soon, and ammo goes back to "normal" prices and availability. Until then, good luck!

Walmart is the best price just finding it is a trick just keep your eyes open at Walmart for shooting supplies and then order some bulk when the regulars have it in stock again

50c per round seems to be about right right now...

Cheapest I've seen even combloc surplus ammo recently was about 40 cents per round. Go to the websites that sell it and click for email notices for all their 7.62x39 ammo. I have about 8 websites that I have them setup for 7.62 and 5.56 from 20 round boxes to 1000 round cases. Just make sure you check your email often, if possible sent to your phone. I got a notice while I was in a meeting and by the time I got back to my desk 15 minutes later they had sold out again.

I really lucked out today. I swung by DCF Guns in Castle Rock, and they had some. $8.99 for a box of 20 rounds.
