WY is on the short list of places I'd like to buy retirement land. Too bad the wife is being relatively stubborn on WY and MO.

Wouldn't that be nice.. I'd love to see that day in court when some Montana cop tries to arrest a federal agent... The legal implications would be incredible and would put to rest a whole bunch of messed up precedent.

Doesn't make up for Cheyenne, easily the worst state capital in the country. If it gets passed, you can start to gloat. Otherwise, it's just another "hey wouldn't that be cool" thing I saw on the internets.

Due to the high volume new posts everyday, i don't have the patient and interest of searching through threads.

not to bust your balls...but this is why there is a high volume of new posts. there are literally 3 reposts for every new post made. so, we have 400 percent more crap to wade through, but only 1/4 of that is actual new content.

Don't worry, I don't have balls for you to bust. If there had be a delete option for posts, maybe as soon as the OP find out about a previous post, he/she can delete it himself/herself, without troubling the mod or ball busters.

Get three well written petetions going; get them on the ballot just like the potheads did. One; like WY's rebuke of fed authority and affirmation of all 2nd Amendment rights. Two; Constitutional carry. Three; Stop the authority of the state to suspend 2nd Amendment rights in time of emergency. The state legeslature would be taken out of the equation. I believe the popular support is there to make it happen if the proposals are well written and follow clear legal context.

Would you prefer they selected Torrington? How 'bout Chugwater?

Someplace closer to trees, mountains, or less wind would have been better. Cheyenne is the worst place in the state.

This isn't the impression that I get. 14 posts and you have damn near half of them. I also see that you're new around here. You would do well to be a little more respectful of those who have been here and more considerate of those you seek audience with. Otherwise, your stay here will be short and less than sweet. Not everything requires you getting defensive.

Are Tattoos still illegal there? Mini bottle law in bars still?

If it were not for those laws and hurricanes I think that I would have moved back there.

I sense that the OP was being sarcastic and not intending to be disrespectful. It is hard sometimes to find a re-post and we all do it. No need to slam the re-post hammer too hard, it takes time to get better at reviewing things on here.

Nothing wrong with Chug except that some lunatic drove his car into Hortons and burned the place down a couple weeks ago.

Really all the fed could do is threaten to withhold funding to the state to spur legislative change. And it just so happens that most conservative states like WY, MT, TX and the like really don't need it as desperately like the dependent ass blue states. It appears that financial responsibility and conservative ideals go hand in hand with a gun in their holster.

Not sure about mini bottle laws but tattoos are legal! I can't stand living in this commifornia take over state any more. 8 years of colorado supporting oblowme and I've had enough. Ill give up mini bottle for a state government that will back the 2A.

I hear you, and being that we both live near the mindless wonder that is Boulder I completely understand. My problem now is that it appears that liberalism is spreading like an infectious disease and we will keep running until we reach a last stand and by then it will be too late. I feel like it is one big real life episode of The Walking Dead except we cant run them over with trucks and shoot them when the turn.

It is very true. Entitlement and ignorance will eventually over run America. That is why I will not reproduce because my children would suffer more than I will have to. But while I am alive, I wanna shoot deer, own a bunch of guns, go to the jockey lot, and have red dirt on my boots

State reps in Wyoming have flat out said that the state can get on just fine without fed money.
