The 1 million backorder is thanks to the MASSIVE firearms distributor RSR who ordered 1 million pmags.
Does Magpul get a 'gold magazine' after making their millionth?
Seems like this backorder won't get filled until the next AWB expires.

I hate to even count how many millions of PMAG's have been made to date. I do not know what Magpuls production capacity is but since they are now only running black and I am sure the line is going 24/7 I bet it won't take them that long to produce them. I have a feeling in 3 months if a Ban does not happen by then things will have settled to the point that they are actually instock for more than a few minutes

Man, I can't wait for that. All the damn nonsense of the panic stricken sales & hype is just a bunch of bullshit.

The best part is that when the floor falls out because the panic buyers have dried up all those stupid enough to order large amount of inventory at the marked up prices will be stuck holding the bag. Hope it costs them more than they made screwing everyone over

DSGArms had that late-december set of deals for backordered PMAGs 10 for $100 (+regular S&H), I don't think they could have offered that deal if they were paying marked up prices from their distributor/magpul.

DSG is a direct distributor with magpul. Its the ones that can not get direct from manufacturer and have to go thru middle men that are getting screwed. And while magpul has not raised prices other companies have

Maybe this will drive up the supply and prices will go down!!! [panic]
I have a close friend she is in sales at Magpul. They can make half million a month and are back ordered about 4 million mags right now so it's going to be awhile before they get caught up.

Ask her if they can make my 100 pre-order from DSG first.

When will the madness stop!
Probably about the time the people trying to make a profit from the ill prepared can't afford to pay their CC bills.
So glad I'm not in either category.

Also, Magpul hasn't done anything with their prices, nor can the distributors due to contracts. If you hear anyone say they have raised the prices due to Magpul/distributors raising theirs, they are lying.
Granted it is their store, their inventory, their customers, and they can charge what the market will support, but it has nothing to do with Magpul or their distributors.

Yep. I follow his blog but hadn't seen his Facebook until yesterday.
Yeah, the Haus of Guns mention was one of the reasons I posted this.
