I was listening to KOA the other night and they were discussing the gun regulations, etc. The guest they had on advised going to your local community/sheriff and making sure he knows you don't approve of the gun legislation. It might be one of the easiest things to do. Organize your local community and put pressure on local LEO's to relay our thoughts up the chain? Any thoughts on this?

If a gun ban is enacted it's going to be the local LEO's that come to take our guns away... Not for me.

Knowing several members of my hopeful organization of employment later this year (JCSO), they all have voiced concern recently that they will not be on board for any confiscation- and two of them are supervisors. Word is even the Sheriff himself (who is very pro-2A) is NOT for any type of unconstitutional enforcement. I'll get his thoughts next time I see him as he's a family friend.

You have no problem with Sheriff John Cook. He is a firm 2A believer & supporter. His predorcessor Ed Jordan was signing off on CCW's way before it became state issues, one of the few at that. Both Jordan, Cook AND DA Ken Buck are a rare breed in LE.

Cops down here said it would be a "suicide mission".. But i'm sure there are some that would enjoy more power

It's good to know that some are on board with not being part of a confiscation. However, for everyone one that stands up for our rights there's another that's against them. Split country indeed. Hope there are more on our side then theirs.

Ya Larimer and Weld are in good control. Both 2A and ccw supporters.

Add El Paso in as a county with good sheriff that supports the 2A and CCW.

I wish i could say the same for mine. I pretty sure he would probably go along with whichever way the political wind is blowing and try to look like a hero to this admin.
