Just got a phone call from the kids' school district. "Due to the inclement weather and a bomb threat at the high school, kids will be released at 1:30 today"... And a bomb threat??? I think we need to go back to a wooden paddle hanging in the pricinpal's office and a principal who understands how to keep kids in line... Went to the district website, no info, but a notice that drug sniffing dogs from the Sherriff will be in the school randomly...

Gun control? We need PARENT control! They let any asshole have a kid, should have to get a permit before having sex! [rant-off]

damn I have a test this afternoon, I know!

almost as bad as SVVSD canceling classes last winter because it was too cold (no snow or anything) and kids wear shorts to school... I've got a solution to shorts in winter. fire drill time!

Little more to the story, not the first time this school year... SOP is bus the kids from the high school to a nearby elementary school, lock down there and wait until 3:30 to let kids out...
