View Full Version : Need a ball park price for an AR Dissipator rifle
Im in the Co Springs and would like to get an idea of how much are AR's going for localy at the present; Its built on a Surplus ammo lower, has been fired 200-300 rounds, A2 stock, generic LPK, flat top upper with a removable cary handle, 17" 1-7 chrome dissipator barrel with an F marked front sight and A2 Flash hidder. I'm thinking of hitting the G show this weekend and would like to show up there informed of the current trend in demand.
Thanks
I think it's worth $700 max right now... I'll give you $800 just for your troubles. :)

Seems like people are paying whatever people are asking. Complete lowers are going for 500-800 (asking price at least) with uppers usually a little higher depending on components, and complete rifles going from $1500 up to "I can't believe I'm asking this but someone will probably still buy it" prices.
Try Armslist for a local comparison. Sounds like a cool rifle though, what length gas system?

Wish I had the cash, sounds like a sweet rifle.
I'm interested in the upper
I always thought that the rifle length gas systems could be problematic with cycling. I hope I'm wrong and you get a good one.

Supposed to be g2g on a quality upper with a 17" barrel. 16" barrels seem to be pushing it, but dwell on a 17" barrel gets it done. According to the internet... You know what they say about info on the internet!
I read it on the Internet. It must be true. ;)
I personaly ran the 2-300 rounds through and had no issues
