As the owner of an old Colt cAR-15, I've stopped by this web site several times, but until today I never bothered to register for the Forums before. I guess what prompted me to join was seeing a guy @ the Fox & the Hound here in ColoSpr wearing his CO AR-15 Shooters shirt (this was "AR Will", one of the site moderators) on Friday afternoon.

As I mentioned above, I have an old Colt cAR-15 and, like the M-16's of the Vietnam era ("Jammin' Charlie's"), I have a problem with it clearing the ejected brass before the bolt catches it. I was hoping that someone here might be able to help me solve this problem.

Also, as a lefty, I really HATE IT when I catch hot ejected brass down my shirt and have found that the availability of left-handed ejection port AR's was short-lived. Anyone know a good source to be able to pick one of these up?

Welcome

Yeah, just a little nickname I picked up @ US Space Command several years back because I always wore a knife on one hip and a Leatherman on the other.

Thanks for the welcome!

Great! Now I'll have to mandate that staff and mods wear the club t-shirt when out for all social events.
