IDPA magazine rule

Does IDPA still require, or mandate, or whatever, the use of ten round magazines?

If so are you limited to ten round magazines, or only ten in a magazine?

Only ten in a magazine once the buzzer goes off.

To be precise, you can use a high cap magazine but you can only have a max of ten rounds in it plus one in the chamber. At the start of a stage I usually have one magazine with 11 rounds in it so when the command to load is given I can put the magazine in, rack the slide and be ready to go.

Okay. I was just trying to understand the rule. And, to figure out if I needed to keep my ten round magazines, or sell them off.
