My new Carbon 15

Got it off GunBroker for $905 new. Seeing ads this morning for $1,200-1,700 for the same exact rifle. If I didn't want it so badly, I just might have relisted it.

You'll like it, I bought one at Gander Mtn a couple years ago for under 600 with a red dot scope on it. For the price it's very reliable and fun, just make sure you look at the receiver. Most now are chambered for .223 and 5.56 like mine, but a few still make it around that are .223 only, and from what I read you do NOT want to put 5.56 in a carbon 15 that is only marked for .223. It has less to do with the carbon fiber receiver as just Bushmaster cheaped out on the actual chamber and it can fail with the extra pressure.

Sadly, I looked at Bud's auctions on Sunday when I was trying to look at a reserve order I have with them and a carbon 15 had hit more than $2800. Bud's starts their auctions at 0.01, and there were 3 guys that just kept bidding it up. That was with 4 hours left in the auction, so I am not sure what the final sale price got to.
