I doubt it has any chance of getting through either house or chickenlooper, but at least some lawmakers are firing back:

I'm sure it wouldn't have the support needed to pass.

Call the mans office and thank him.
We need to show support for any official that supports 2A, its the only chance we have.

very cool! I like the concept. Either allow people to protect themselves or you need to do it as a business. easy choice for 95% of them out there.

It won't be taken seriously. Now had they made the requirement that a secure place to check the weapon must be provided (AZ had something like that in their laws when I lived there) it might have a chance. At least it would have been taken seriously.

I'm not sure the ratios are right, but for Places of Public Accommodation, it's appropriate to either allow concealed carry or have limited access and armed security. I suggested this measure in the presentation I posted on Sunday.

People just seem to not understand that gun free zones are a problem, not a solution.

I like this, either allow CCW or provide security. It is smart legislation to address the problem of public safety that doesn't shit all over our rights. I'll take it.

I think it is reasonable and well worded.

Is this one of those "common sense" gun laws I keep hearing about?

Love it, but would like to see it apply to non-public businesses as well (so it would apply where I work), but I fully support it the way it's written as well- because despite it not really affecting me, it WOULD REDUCE CRIME.

most politicians lately don't seem to care about results, just perception...
