Got stop by the local sheriff's while loading my rifles in the car show and was ask to show my CHP! I told him I have two gun's on my person a 38 solutions on my ankle and a 9mm on my waist ,he started to make smart remarks about me carrying two gun's, which I do everyday! Do anyone think that's a problem.

Ya, quit being paranoid, you're not living in downtown Detroit.
I'd ask him how many he carries. My guess would be two. He probably had a snubby in an ankle holster.
Ask him to cite you for the law you are breaking, or let you go, but he can quit wasting your time and save the lecture for his grand children.
For the record, him asking the question is not a problem. Police ask questions to find info. If you don't want to answer, don't.

Why carry two guns? Because I feel safer with more than 7 rounds!!
Why carry 2? To keep ballanced of course!!
Dont want to walk lopsided![Coffee]
"How much longer are you going to detain me officer?" I'll talk to cool cops all day long. Cop (pun intended) an attitude and you can go pound sand up your a$$.

There's an old saying; "Two guns are one, one gun is none"
Mechanical devices fail ... always best to have a backup.

It'd be hard not to say "because I'm a grown ass man, and a legal law abiding citizen".

Actually you should have whipped out the average response time from police on a homicide in your hometown. 'nuff said.

I would have asked him if there is a problem, will you contact your watch commander (or what ever they are called) and have him on scene. This way he could clarify what if any laws were in question.

Never hurts to carry two. For me carrying one is enough of a pain in the ass. I'm on my 4th different setup in as many months.
why were you asked to provide your chp while loading rifles in your car?

2 is 1, 1 is none. As stated, mechanical items with moving parts can and do fail without warning. I learned this 35 years ago when working as a mechanic. Power tools would break and so back ups were needed or I was not able to earn a living. Same with guns; in a fight and one goes down, you need another to continue to make a living.

My response, *wave of hand* "You don't need to see my CHP, nor am I required to show it to you. However, can I see your identification? Thank you. Now that I have your name, there won't be any misunderstandings." *look around for any witnesses* "See those people over there? They're watching you right now. I'm not threatening you or breaking the law so restraint is the action you're looking for. Be safe officer, and as always, Have Nice Day."
I think are safest with a draco.

This for sure, since when do you need a CHP to put rifles in a vehicle ???

+1 on that you may want to think about contacting that department. I would be writing a letter or something

Hmmm, you know, in thinking about it. I think that depending on how the situation looked from the officer's POV, this may be not a big deal.

Maybe the cop saw the gun on his waist or his pants came up a little? Who knows.
Its called a New York reload.
Exactly. Commander-sized .45 and a J-frame.

When the CCW permit in Colorado went to "Shall-issue" after May 17,2003 a permit is defined according to 18-12-202(6) "Permit means a permit to carry a concealed handgun issued pursuant to the provision of this Part2; except that "permit" does not include a temporary emergency permit issued pursuant to section 18-12-209. (emphasis mine)
The terminology is "a concealed handgun" - before 2003, the definition was a concealed weapon, it appears by language that multiple concealed handguns could be a problem for the new permits. I sure wouldn't want to be the test case.
