I was at the Arapahoe county Sheriffs office today applying for my CCW. While I was waiting a man came in and started demanding that the Sheriffs office give him a check for $125. Apparently a Deputy broke the mans bong and he was demanding a check for $125 to replace it.
Betcha he gets it too plus a written appology...
Amendment 64... Thus begins the majority of the state going full retard... [facepalm]

Cops break perfectly legal property, their office is responsible to compensate you for it.
Guy sounds like a douchewad, but barring some circumstances that justify it, it seems like a perfectly legit claim.

I think the fact that we have the largest alcohol consumption per capita in the country would have more to do with it.

Personal property. I would be pissed if they broke anything that was my property.

Can I get an AR-15 made of hemp? With all the nuttiness about the 3D printers making a lower maybe one could be made out of compressed hemp. You'd get really mellow after some rapid fire.

haha that's funny steve, maybe some compressed hemp ak furniture?
Interesting. I'm curious if bongs are legal under Federal law? Especially when used and resinated with Federally illegal substance?
would that classify as a Smoki'n gun?

Wasn't there something similar (well related, personal property, not nearly in the same category as "bong") not too long ago about a wrong address raid and the owner wasn't compensated for the broken front door/door frame?

A bong with marijuana resin would be illegal under federal law.

Neither the police, nor insurance will compensate for damages the police do to your property, even if it was a mistake.
