Dear diary,
My wife has been sending mixed signals....
NOT!
So the wife and I went to Jason Boland and the stragglers concert on Thursday night. Hypothetically I might've gotten a little tipsy... And when we got ome(via dd) got changed and went to bed. Ever since that night I can't find my wedding band, pretty sure I made it home with it... Anyways where have you guys lost and eventually found your rings?
Please help my marriage depends on it! Just kidding she cool with it, just want me to find it or buy a new one.
Did you check under the hood on the wife?

And this is why I have a $30 ring.

common places I have misplaced them...
Jacket pocket, pants pocket, DD's car, also check corners of the bedroom or lay down in bed and flip your arm and see where your hand is pointing
Sorry, can't help you. Never lost one, because I almost never take it off. If I absolutely have to take it off to work on the car or something, it goes straight in my pants pocket.
And this is why I have a $30 ring.
This. and I always keep a back up.

Did you check under the hood on the bar maid?
In all seriousness though, I never take my wedding ring off except to shoot and always put it in my pants pocket when I do that sooooo...have you checked all of the pockets in everything you were wearing that night?

Yes, I have lost it, but only in the house so I have always found it. But she still wasn't happy. BTW I saw Jason Boland at the Grizzly Rose about 6 months ago and he was awesome!

Lost mine in 2000, wife knows it, never complained about it....
Never lost mine. It doesn't leave the house except on special occasions.
Tossed mine in the wifes jewelry box the day after our wedding

I have lost keys, glasses, wallets, watches, cell phones, and pretty much every pocket based accessory or adornment known to man. My wife knew this going in, so she bought me a stack of $50 rings. I have spares in my briefcase, glovebox, and night stand. We're heading into our fifth year of marriage, and I've still got 7 out of 10.

This actually makes sense!!!
You check her lacey underpants which are might be under your pillow????

I cut my left hand rather badly on a beach several hours from home about 20 years go. It was Winter and rings tend to fit a bit looser in cold weather. Upon cutting myself, I shook my hand similar to when you slam it in the door or similar. My ring flew off. I spent over an hour looking for it to no avail. A full YEAR later, I was back at the same spot and found my ring under the first tumble weed I kicked over. Original cost of the ring in Mexico - $10. Value now: priceless.
Lost mine a couple of years ago when I took it off to get fingerprinted for something. I put it in my pocket. Got out to the car to take it, and my keys, out - it fell inside the e-brake handle housing. Never went diving for it - it was a cheap ass ring. Decided to go buy another one that I liked better.
Mine hasn't been off in 34 years. Jambed knuckle senior high football. Sorry no help here.
Not married anymore... but when I was, when mine came off, it went on the keyring. Always.
In your case - check pockets you might not normally use. Not just deep in your front pants pocket, but the little coin pocket, inside pockets of jackets, front pockets of jackets, etc. If it's a pocket, turn it inside out!
Id check the dd and see if it was left there or in your vehicle before the concert
Rings slip off cold hands. I lost my first one with her in attendance at Cheeseman Canyon. I slipped in the snow a couple of times and one time it came off. Never did find it. We replaced it, but I convinced her (truthfully) that rings are hazards to men that work with their hands. I have two now (we bought another in Israel that heas special meaning) and almost never wear either. I hate friggin jewelry, and she understands. It doesn't hurt that I put off an unmistakable "happily married" vibe to all women, and they report the same back to her. The damn things are a nuisance. Get out of wearing one ASAP.
Go back and check under stage 3.... The one one the middle... With the mop and bucket next to the tarp!
Mine fell into the washing machine tonight while i was scrubbing dog barf out of my sheets. I had to wade my hand through scalding hot water with my wife laughing at me. Luckily it couldn't go too far. Guess my finger is losing weight.

I will lose my finger before I lose my ring.
Yes, it means that much to me.

That's probably all too common in your line of work!

Was on a hike with my father in law in California and I tried to boost myself up between two rocks. I had a backpack on and the extra weight on my back threw me off balance and I fell into a bush directly behind me. On my way downy ring flew off however I didn't notice it until 2 hours later at the end of our hike. I thought I didn't put it on that day but a quick check of the house revealed nothing. The next day I rented a metal detector and went back to what was the only logical place my ring could be. After an hour of digging threw leaves, brush sticks and dirt the only thing I found was some old beer cans and a spent bullet case. We started walking back towards the car when my wife suggested we give it one last look. After fifteen minutes of nothing we decided it was a lost cause. However I ran the metal detector one last time over where I was standing and it beeped. I brushed some dead grass away and boom! There it was, my wife and I were both ecstatic to find it. Now I never wear it when I play sports or go into the wild.

Only if your stupid.
If I am welding or doing something that carries a real risk I will put it on my key ring but it goes back on as soon as I am done.
I had a guy I worked with years ago that would always take his ring off when we went out to get a beer. Didn't take me long to lose all respect for him.

And this is why I have a $30 ring.

I have only had my ring off a couple of times. I can never pull it off when I want to, perhaps tht was my wife's plan. [Coffee]
i stopped wearing my ring in an attempt to keep it safe. i blame most of it on alien abductions but ive found my ring in such places as: on top of the bathroom vanity; in the couch; in my cars coin compartment (when i didnt drive anywhere); and on some random shelf in my garage. i have taken steps to monitor my abductions and have cut back/drink much less than i used too.

Okay found it. I'm not going to have to move into anyone's basement or garage. I got home from Jiu jitsu just now went to throw my dirty clothes in the laundry/bathroom downstairs, and found it on the nose of some stupid bear decoration. Damn I need to quit drinking. I woke my wife up and made her come a see. It feels good to have my bottle opener back now.
Thanks for the help fellers!

What? I don't have a drinking problem... It's for those um... Glass coke bottles.
I got one you can have, I never wear it. Just reminds me I live in Hell, and jewelry isn't wise around electrical/electronic gear anyway.

Freezing cold and dehydration from the drinking shrinks your fingers big time.. Could have plopped off anywhere. Check the bed if that is where you went right when you got home. If not, the couch, kitchen chair etc. Or in the car.

Damn I need to quit drinking. I!
Nobody likes a quitter. Grats on finding it. I lost mine once in the house and it drove me nuts. I rarely take it off and when I do, it goes someplace safe.
Pockets, cup holder in car, 12 pack carton in fridge?

In the sand, on the beach while playing volleyball, but that doesn't really help you :P Pockets, the sink, tub or anywhere it could have easily slipped off. Who would have thought sand would act like a lubricant? Certainly not this guy!

Good work finding it! I lost mine for a few hours one day when I was painting ...luckily my wife was out and I found it before she got back. She would stick it to me if I really lost it.
Lost my first one pulling maintenance on my tank, at Ft. Irwin, CA.
She bugged out, but I told her I was not going to search the desert. Got a new one. Then realized I was allergic to gold anyway.
So, I haven't worn one for 18 yrs. Wore it for the first 2.

Hope you find it. I have a stainless steel chain that I wear around my neck when I working with tools. That way I'm still wearing it but I won't lose it, or the finger it's on.
