Have the choice of both. LMT factory completed upper incl bcg or rr factory completed upper. LMT is a carbine RR is a middy. Both 16 in. RR Is a 1:9. LMT is a 1:7. I don't know which to keep. Casual shooter. 100yds and closer.
Any comments to sway my decision ? Accuracy, reliability ? LMT has been flawless. Have not shot a middy before. .
Can you keep both? And build or buy another lower?

Hold on to both. OR part it out. OR see if i have anything you might be looking for as barter material.

Interesting responses so far. I have a stripped lower and may build on it. I was just kinda curious about which one was going to be the best for accuracy and reliability. Thanks for all comments. I can keep them both and looks like I will and see where this hysteria takes us.

I like 1:7 twist on heavier bullets. So, LMT would be my preference between the two.

LMT hands down....
1/7 twist and middy is my preference
LMT over the RR all day long.

Sell the LMT its worth more dough! Casually shooting at 100y you will never notice the difference. And mid-length gas is smoother. Plus some LMT's have tighter chambers, I have known some that choke on steel case ammo. A 1-9 twist can also be better for 40-55gr ammo which is cheaper too! Make some money on some panicky sucker now!!!!

LMT is staying. Rock River is no longer in the picture. And thanks a ton for the comments and advice. What I thought was a trading post purchase RR UPPER turned out to be not a purchase. Even though I was the 1st to respond on the trading post thread and waited 8 hours for a response to my 2nd pm , I lost. Someone just barely beat me out by a pm that came in " just minutes before me ".
fuck it.
