The Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors' Association is having a raffle for a FA Uzi.

Tickets are $25 a piece and limited to 600. I emailed and found out they have just under 100 left. My luck with contests I have to pay for is not as good as the free contests I enter, but hey it's an Uzi! I figure why not? I've won contests where the odds were 1 in 20,000 so maybe I'll get lucky this time. So if anyone cares click the link above for more info.

I'll throw one in the mail. No chance in heck of me winning, but for $25, I figure why not support a pro-NFA firearms organization. You never know too, could even win the thing but 1:600 odds feels like the pool is way too big to ever get picked - hell, I lose most coin tosses.

That's what I figure too. The chances are small but at least their is a chance if you get a ticket. I'm getting 2 tickets. Odds are funny things anyway. I've won a couple of contests where the odds were 10,000's to 1. And I also entered a contest 57,000 times out of 80,000 total entries and lost. It only takes 1 entry to win. Hopefully one of us wins it.
