Its official.

STI Firearms in Georgetown Texas is the Match Sponsor for the 2013 Rocky Mountain Regional Steel Challenge.

Pikes Peak Practical Shooters and the Pueblo West Sportsmans Assn will host the match on 24-25 May 2013.

The past 3 years have filled up, so please hurry up and get the applications in. I hate turning people away, but I only have 150 slots.

The results just went out via email. I was at the range again today. This time as a shooter instead of a non shooting staff droid.

Everyone seemed to have a good time with no drama.

Thanks again to my Match Staff, Steve Pitt, Charlene Jones, Craig Calkins and Gene Bray. All of them busted their butts to put on this match for you.

I will send out another copy Tuesday (hopefully easier to read) with the email addresses of our match sponsors. PLEASE remember to send them a short "Thank you" email.

This is the 5th year we have run this match in Pueblo. It just keeps running smoother and smoother.

Next April, Ruger Rimfire Challenge. Next Memorial Day weekend, Steel Challenge. See you then.

For those of you that dont know it, vossman was at the range with me Friday around sunrise helping me with set up and getting things going.

Without people like him, there would be no matches.

We all owe him a beer or three.

Don't sell yourself short either. How many people you know who spend there free time running matches they don't shoot? Not very many...

That's the reason I come out to help when I can and i am not working. Hoser gives up so much of his time for the sport and us shooters, my getting up early to help set up is a drop in the bucket.
