You have been told WRONG. from reading some of your other post it's not the first time wrong or incorrect.

Are you considering a move to Colorado?

Link to a source of your information about cities banning CCW in Colorado? Which Colorado cities are you talking about?

No need for hostility. SG1, some cities have banned open carry, not concealed carry. Denver has banned open carry, and one ski townthat is easy to avoid.

Irving, I wasn't trying to be hostile and I apologize if my response came across that way. I asked the questions I did because this is the second question by the OP questioning Colorado laws and politics. I know many here have gastric anxiety over the laws and politics in states like NY or CA, but I don't know many here who would go onto a board like calguns.net or nyshooters.net and ask similar questions.

Since the OP has asked two such questions it just seemed possible that he was considering a move to Colorado. Otherwise, if he has a specific question to ask about specific laws in specific cities in Colorado where he maybe visiting in the near future, please ask those questions. Otherwise it may appear to some that you are trolling.

To the OP, how are the gun laws in McDermitt? I've never been to that part of Nevada and I really don't have any idea what it would be like to carry, either open or concealed there.

Be safe.

Ditto 2 post asking the same kind of questions. How hard is it to look up CO gun laws in the numerous web sites online? Makes me wonder how some people are able to exist on a daily basis w/out 24/7 assistance. Just like an O voter, needs, or wants, everyone else to do the work for them.

Warning labels keep stupid people from offing themselves every day. We've legislated and frivolous-lawsuit'd our way out of natural selection. Idiocracy, here we come.

I still come here because I think you guys are quite knowledgeable and helpful (sometimes even funny) even though those laws mean nothing to me anymore. Maybe pointing a fellow in the right direction isn't a bad thing....

Pointing is one thing. Having to feel like we are holding their hand is another. Look i am very far from perfect, not to far, however when i need info i spend time on line, at the library OR on the phone. Then i do a search in the FAQ section and or an advanced search. IF I am still unable to locate said info i then post asking for help. It seems like the ability for a person to actually do for them self has all but vanished. If they ran out of toilet paper i wager 50% would post their dilemma on line before taking action to resolve the issue.

Don't let these guys bug ya.. You could ask "what is the meaning of life" and their response would be LOOK IT UP YOURSELF! (kinda defeats the purpose of the forum if I google the answer to every question I have) Some of them are quick to point out that you are cluttering up their forum and they're the same people with over 5000 posts just bitching at people for not using the search feature or duplicate posting.. Just ask your questions and those of us that can help will...

Ok, seriously, because this is the 2nd thread here by this guy in this tone... I'm not trying to be mean, but I do feel a need to ask: What's the deal with this guy from NV coming on to our forum and asking questions like "How is your state overrun by liberal parasites?" and "What is up with your CCW laws?" as if we as a community are solely responsible for the direction our state is going? I'm just curious... I can't tell if he's genuinely curious about CO, like he wants to move here, or if he is actually being smarmy and pompous.

I doubt I will be living in CO in another 2 years. I think my wish to move back to MT is out with all the communist jackasses in the state legislature up there. Looking like WY, ID or AK. Maybe UT.

Not sure. One of my brothers lives around Provo. Nice town.

Another lives outside Rigby, ID.

The other two live around Billings.

I love the cold, hate the heat. Colorado is getting too warm for my liking, not to mention far too many Liberal jackasses. We had to put in central A/C in 2011.

Anything over about 80 degrees and I'm looking for A/C or a swimming pool.

Move here and vote.

Better yet, find a wonderful woman. Produce a bumper crop of fine citizens, educated in the principles of self-reliance, discipline, and hard work. Help them become educated voters and send them out to do likewise. Demographics is where the culture war begins and ends.

Be safe.
