Ha, I keed! About the tequila anyways. I'm drinking beer and I might break out some vodka or Johnny later.
I plan to skip dinner, drink as if I was 23, and seriously consider making stupid decisions I'll regret in the morning. I plan to preface this with a smart decision however: I'm staying home.
With that said however, I apologize in advance for derailing your thread, making long meandering posts that have nothing to do with your thread, and generally being an ass. I also apologize in advance if I go out into the shop all night and actually do something instead of actually fulfilling on my predictions of shenanigans.
Regardless, this shall be the repository of my evenings actions. Consider it a micro-blog.
With that said, let the shenanigans begin!

When you get drunk enough and are still ordering things ill PM you my address, just enter that in the recipient box and Ill say thank you in advice
A couple years ago I got back from a ~3 week work traveling trip where drinking was strictly prohibited. I decided a stout margarita sounded good so I mixed one up. After that one I thought I should have another. Next thing I know I'm power puking off my deck. After that I remember waking up and hoping I put the chickens away before I went to bed and didn't trash the house before my wife got home. When we both woke up the next morning the chickens were back in the coop and the wife didn't say anything so it was all good.

Nice. Beer and truck work always goes good together. Motorcycles too. And speaking of which, I decided I really did need to get something useful done tonight so I replaced the gas tank bushings on the bike.
Gentlemen, I present a 1968 Hodaka Ace 100. Although I had ridden motorcycles before, this was the bike I really learned to ride on. I just finished a year long frame-up rebuild. Yes, I still need to polish the tank.

Go ahead and PM me that address. First, reread my OP though. To fulfill the "ass" part of the evening, I'll have a case of KY, strap-ons, and a lifetime subscription to Playgirl sent over... COD. :)

I was in a similar situation a few years ago. I was coming back from overseas and hadn't had a drink in a loong time. I got into Dulles so late, I had to stay the night before catching the next flight. I went down to the hotel bar and there was two guys arguing about Iraq/Afghanistan. After they left, the bartender made a comment about uninformed people with "expert" opinions. I agreed, and made a comment about my experiences in the ME. After that, I had a bottomless highball of Maker's Mark in front of me. I f**king destroyed that hotel bathroom. The flight out the next day was *rough.*

I take great pains to try and utilize proper grammar and correct spelling in my posts/texts/emails. When all you have is the written word, those aspects go a long ways towards displaying intelligence and maturity. Of course, given the nature of this thread, maturity may not be an issue after all.
And I'm on beer four. Maybe it's time for a shot...?

At least you're smart enough not to fill all that stomache capacity with food that will get in the way of beers and booze.
Last time I woke up after a night of poor judgements, I asked my wife why I was such a liar.

Typically, new bearings in the yoder do not require the dance of the suger plum fairies.
So, my Midway order is almost ready methinks. But I have a dilemma...
18" barrel and +2 or 20" barrel and +3... This is for a Remington 870.

No, they do vodka too. And as disgusting as it sounds, the fermented mare's milk is actually really good. The problem is that when you sit down to drink with a Mongol, it's considered bad manners to get up from the table before 3 bowls have been consumed. And by 3 bowls, I mean 3 cereal/soup bowls full of airag/vodka. It can result in a pretty bad night.

Oh shit! Johnny Walker Blue. Thats like a $200+ bottle. Thought I was a high roller in Vegas once and had a couple $40 glasses of that.
Oh wait... Its black, looked blue! but still good!
baglock1
01-25-2013, 00:49
Yeah, just the black. I'm not really a whiskey connoisseur. I can't tell the red from the black from the blue from the green. I've tried them all but other than varying shades of burn, couldn't really tell a difference.
And it's getting to the point where about 80% of my words have little red squiggly lines under them (before right-click, replace). Thank you spell check.
I just opened beer #8. Add in 2 shots of vodka and 1 of whiskey and I'm about ready to pass the f**k out. Batman Returns is over. I am Legend is starting. It's nice to have the volume up as loud as I f**king want it.

The hardest part was only pushing snooze once. I have a very slight pounding at the base of my skull, and my sinuses are stopped up but otherwise feel fine. For whatever reason, drinking at higher altitudes always does that to me. I've been here for about a year and a half (was at sea level previously) and it still persists.
Thanks for the company last night. I can't say any shenanigans actually happened (ducks a pistol whipping), but mayhaps that can be fixed tonight. Or maybe I'll actually catch up on homework like a should be doing.
I need to know this.
I'll have to make some assumptions on the center of gravity, but it's not that difficult of a problem. It's basically a classic slip vs tilt problem from statics.

That actually used to happen quite a bit when I worked for the family business. A "safety meeting" was usually accompanied with 2-3 18 packs.
And the first movie is one that I'm sure will win approval, "300."

I love the quotes in this one:

Man you guys are either hardcore or I'm just a wuss, the wife has been in Texas with the kiddo since Thursday before last, and I really have no enthusiasm for a good drinking session, I just miss my kid.
baglock1
01-26-2013, 11:51
Definitely not hardcore. But when I get the opportunity to sit around and do whatever I want, to include watching action/sci-fi with the volume all the way up, drink beer, and field strip guns on the island in the kitchen, I'm going to take advantage of it. :)
And with regards to the kids, I'm a family man. They're the best thing that has ever happened to me. But I can handle a few days apart. It's better than months at a time (of which I am too familiar with). Hopefully, those days are all behind me.
