Well lets see.. One says 5.56 and the other 7.62.. That's a difference right there.

There are some specific differences in the parts kits, like takedown pins. But there are a lot of "like" parts also.

Typically:
Take down and pivot pins are different, bolt stop is different, many 7.62 do not use separate trigger guards, and some have a different, longer mag catch, where others just tighten the nut down less.
For the rest of it, the receiver extensions are typically the same, though the buffers are shorter, in both rifle and carbine, and buffer springs are different.
Also, not all AR15 grips will fit 7.62 ars. Armalite AR10B models (all but the newest) leave a gap with high tang grips.

To be more specific I have Tactical machine 7.62x51 lower, looking to slowly assemble necessary parts for completion
Last I saw, Brownells had .308 LPKs in stock.
