Since you've been lurking for a while you realize we can be a bit unrefined, but we're a good bunch. Somehow though, the ladies who join up don't stick around long. I honestly wish this wasn't the case. We know there are a bunch of ladies who appreciate and enjoy firearms, including the AR, but we don't get too many here. I find this unsettling since we really need more ladies into the shooting sports and getting a woman's point of view can be helpful. Aside from that, I think some women feel better in the company of other women. I believe that if we could get more ladies involved on this site we could get more ladies into shooting.

Welcome! I think Ginsue hit the nail pretty much on the head. Lots of testosterone on this site, but lots of good folks with a lot of knowledge too. My wife is one of those who lists her occupation now as homemaker; she also home-schools our two children and keeps everything in order while I'm out of the state/country for months on end. Anyone who thinks her job is easy is badly mistaken. I can't quite convince her to get involved on this site. Probably a good thing for me, anyway...[Coffee]

We try to shoot as much as possible, still not as much as we'd like to. Getting ready to do my ccw class done as well. I suppose after 10 years of marriage my husband is finally rubbing off on me ;) I've come a long way!
