Some people just are not capable of accepting responsibility for their actions. She didn't then, 15 years ago, and she doesn't now, regardless of her protestations to the contrary in Congressional hearings last week.

Whenever I think about the Democratic Party, the image of the national party leadership standing in front of the West Wing in support of the Liar in Chief immediately pops into my head. The two prong defense of William Jefferson Clinton was: His personal life should be private, and conservatives are out to get him. My response was: If you want a private life, don't become a public figure, like running for the Presidency, and if someone is out to get you, try not to give them lots of really useful, truthful ammunition.

When older Democrats would wag their fingers at Nixon, I would just point out that it may have taken Nixon too long to arrive at the right decision, but he did eventually did the right thing when he resigned. Republican leaders in Congress basically told Nixon that he would be impeached and he realized that he could not win. What was Clinton's response and more importantly, how did the Democratic Party enabled his perjury?

Everyone can behave reasonably well when times are good. We see the true character of people during times of adversity.

Be safe.

She didn't have anything to start from so not sure how you can establish this ... [facepalm]

Hillary's been a lying sack of excrement even before she met Billy Boy ... recent years haven't gotten any better (although her theatrics aren't always as obviously and blatantly rehearsed).

She was stone cold lying in that interview and even commented latter that Bill was a dog that was "hard to keep on the porch". Its crazy how these 2 have come full circle and now are the darlings of the party. Sickening.
