He is trying to frame it as that.
Liberals are to easy to manipulate. Keep saying the same thing over and over and they will believe it.

2+2=5, say it over and over and it becomes the truth.

Obama gets it. He just wants to destroy America and have full totalitarian control.

He exactly gets the 2nd Amendment and what the Founding Father meant. That is why he wants to restrict and eventually take away all firearms. So that the people will no longer have the means to oppose his dictatorship.

Too early in the game for that . . . wait until his 4 years are over and the next guy takes office. I don't see Obama being able to do that, but he can certainly do a good job of paving the road for what comes next.

We should have raise all hell back in 1934, before this ever started....

Lose a little in '34, lose a little in '68, lose a bit in '86, inch by inch. We're the frog being boiled: a slow yet continual process.

I keep hearing of Democrat politicians wanting "compromise" on firearms laws. What, exactly, are they giving up in the negotiation?

How do you figure it's "too early for that,"? I simply stated what I believe Obama wants, not what he has done. He is making the long standing Democrat 'incrementalism' work more effectively than ever before.

Let us not ignore the wheels that are in motion to repeal the 22nd Amendment. True, this idea has been floated before, but now we have far too many people willing to bow down before Marxist-Muslim Obama.

POTUS is little more than a public figurehead for the people to point fingers at and blame for everything government does wrong. The true players are behind the scenes, out of the spotlight, and they are seldom elected officials. Blaming Obama for these policies is like blaming Ronald McDonald for getting a bad cheeseburger. This was all planned decades in advance. Freedom cannot be taken away overnight . . . it needs to be done incrementally, over many years, with full media support.

He doesn't CARE to get it or WANT to get it. The Constitution? It's optional. Or better yet, The Constitution, void where prohibited by "law", public policy, executive order, or "social justice".

I think Uncle Joe might be secretly on our side with some of his answers......he really helps our cause some times.
He probably thinks, "this is a really big fucking deal."

Anyway, I thought the kid did good.
Didn't think it was new thread worthy and I'm always afraid of the big bad "DUPE" so I'll put this here. [Wave]

I think you're right, but who the hell are the "puppetmasters"? How can we find out who they are so we can string 'em? The Bilderbergers?

There are a lot of conspiracy wackos who will be glad to give you very simple and uncomplicated answers to that question . . . but they are generally wrong. I looked into this a while back and what I discovered was surprisingly complex, with literally dozens of false leads to discredit the gullible. The very nature of politics is subterfuge and misdirection . . . it is like that in most countries, and has been that way since the beginning. Recent advances in computer technology has pretty much given them total information awareness and the ability to facilitate major events across the country very quickly. Interesting times, end times, call it what you want . . . the Republic is doomed. But at least it will be entertaining. There are only so many of them and it seems they are trying to take too much too quickly this time, and that was a mistake . . . unless it wasn't and they are thinking several steps ahead, counting on this to backfire badly on the current administration so we'll be happy to elect an extreme Right wing fellow next time to "fix" all the country's problems.

Clint,
I agree with all that and I'm not laying all the blame on him. But he is the most ardent mouthpiece for the destruction of America and he believes it. He wants the same things the "Seventeen", Bilderburg's or whoever the powers that be are behind this. Obama is accellerating the 'cause' and is an ardent believer in one world currency, one worl government.

Actually, one world currency and one world government would not be so horrible to contemplate if the nature of government was truly benevolent and supported the people in being free to manage their own affairs without intrusion or undue interference. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all -- never has been and never will be. Only one way something like that would even be considered -- a catastrophic global emergency that affected all nations equally. Give it another 15 years.

I think it will be considered and far sooner than 15 years.
