Slight reduction in CBI turn around time

I applied for my background check on Saturday 19 Jan and got a call one week later, 26 Jan, that it was approved.

According to facebook, as of an hour ago, they have 9,458 in the queue and are working on background checks from the 21st.

I really do not understand how this level is being sustained. Most gun vendors have precious little to sell besides bolt action hunting rifles and full size pump shotguns.

That's what I heard- most places are now dealing with FFL transfers from internet orders.

^^This and every black gun and handgun that comes in the door of most shops is gone in minutes. It's full on feeding frenzy hahaha.

Also, I did one on the 20th and got the call yesterday, so it's running about 7 days on the money.
