There are a lot of people working behind the scenes, meeting with people and explaining positions "across the aisle" with tact and civility. Some are doing so with exceptional personal risk to their livlihood and careers that most will never know about. Sure, Dudley is still out there tossing virtual grenades, but that is not all that is going on on the State or National level.

There are positions that are not detrimental to the 2ndA, which may let some get re-elected while still not going full liberal left gun grabber. Some of our elected officials just need to be gently reminded and educated about these positions which are beneficial to their political futures.
