found this on another forum thought i'd share.

A teacher in Lafayette, Tennessee asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans.

Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny.

The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again.

Little Johnny said, "Because I'm not an Obama fan."

The teacher asked, "Why aren't you an Obama fan?"

Johnny said, "Because I'm a Republican."

The teacher asked him why he's a Republican.

Little Johnny answered, "Well, my Mom's a Republican and my Dad's a Republican, so I'm a Republican."

Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, "If your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, what would that make you?"

With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, well I guess that would make me an Obama fan

Good one. I work with a fella who is a big Obama fan. When questioned why (i was prepared to have at least a minor debate) he didn't have a clue what he stood for. He even admitted to being drawn in by the "Change" nonsense and media attention. Essentially he admitted jumping on the bandwagon.

This is the only reason i truly believe he can actually be elected. The voting public really is that stupid.

Obama. He's for change, but hasn't conveyed what he would change or if it would be for the better. He's for hope, but hope isn't a plan of action.

This is an object lesson in the cult of personality.

sadly as true as all of the above is

obama vs almost dead republicrat

I think the guy with more than a few years(at best) left to live will end up winning the election. Why? Because the public is stupid and mccain sucks.

I wonder what the world will be like after 8 years of hussein...

Well hang on for the ride. No telling what will change in the next four years, but your next leader is going to be Barack Hussein Obama. [Luck]

My next-door neighbor's voting Obama. I've talked with him, he doesn't know what Obama stands for, doesn't know his voting record in the Senate or as an IL state senator, can't point to a single policy he supports. He hates George Bush and he, his brother and his two sisters are all voting Obama because they "believe" in him, and his "message of change".

They're not stupid people, just willfully ignorant, and completely uninvolved in politics other than soundbites and popular mass-media opinion.
