Dillon 223 carbide resizing dies are the best thing since sex was invented.

Hornady One-Shot lube might as well be called JB weld.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates it. But, if you drill a hole in the bottom of the case and use an appropriately sized tap and bolt, with a larger nut or many washers as a spacer, you can remove the case from the die without die damage.

I have a can that's 98% full if you need some more.

I've removed about a dozen stuck cases. 223 + One-Shot = Uh huh.

Hmm. I have a case stuck in one of my dies right now. It happens to be lubed with One Shot. Coincidence?

I tried the drill and bolt method it was so stuck I pulled the bottom of the case off that what gave me the idea to wield my fender on with it

Maybe. I haven't even tried to get it out yet. I'll probably try Friday. If I don't have any luck, I'll shoot you a PM.

Thanks.

Stuck case tools are nice, but I have a tap and die set that would still be new if I didn't use it for something.

So, this may very well be how it goes: swear, drill, pound, cut, heat, throw, buy a Dillon carbide 223 resizing die, cry over the price, relish in it's use after receiving it.

Just a guess...

Is Hornady run by Francisco d'Anconia?

So literary of you [ROFL2]

I think he should produce some copper remover.

Hornady One Shot + Dillon carbide 223/308 dies work plenty fine for me.

Must be the altitude difference.

Yep, every time I hear of a stuck case, Hornady One Shot was used.

Every time. Hornady is a good outfit otherwise, but that one product is the worst they've put out.

I've used the stuff a few times, and the first couple of times, it didn't work worth a jack. Last two times, I went very feinstein on them(liberally spraying cases), and it did a decent job. Cant be stingy with the stuff, thats for sure.

Nope, just marveling that you've had 12 stuck cases. Going for the record? [Coffee]

I must be doing it wrong.

It works fine for me. I even use it on pistol brass just to make it resize easier.

Lookit, Hoser! Something else we agree on (something strange happening here - first Varget, now this!).

One Shot works for me in regular steel dies, let alone carbide. Never had a stuck case using it.

You guys must really know how to spread on the lube.

ive been reloading for a long damn time. I experiment too much. I listen too little. I ski uphill. I'm too damn lazy to get differed stuff when I have a can of crap sitting there. It was Obama's fault. My wife made me do it. Wasn't me. It's true it's true.

One word (well, maybe two): NECK SIZING.
No lube needed.
Got two ar's same brand, chamber dimensions are minimal.
Now, as far as alternative uses of leftover case lube...
